Karli & Adam - Stradbroke Island

I love beach weddings and it’s hard to top An Island Hideaway on South Stradbroke Island – an open-air chapel nestled in lush native bush surrounded by pristine beaches and sparkling water, only accessible by boat. Karli and Adam woke to a warm, clear day and they both had a lot of fun getting ready at the Sheraton Marina Mirage.

The boys were responsible for getting the cake on the boat and making sure all of the guests made it on board – once they were on the water Adam was able to relax a little and enjoy the trip. He only had to wait in the chapel for a few minutes before his gorgeous bride disembarked from a water taxi and made her way down the aisle – it was a genuinely emotional moment.

After a beautiful ceremony surrounded by family and friends we whisked them away to the surf side of the island for a relaxed, intimate photo shoot. They reveled in their time alone together and their love and affection for each other was obvious.

As the sun set we made our way back for some fun shots with the bridal party – a tight-knit group of family and friends (with a number of teachers who really know how to have a laugh!). Then it was time join their guests to celebrate their life-long commitment and party the night away.
